In accordance with the “Cooperation Protocol on International Students' Residence Permit Applications” signed on November 15, 2023 between the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education and the Ministry of Interior Directorate of Migration Management regarding the reorganization of the residence permit processes of international students, international students can follow the status of their student residence permit applications by logging in with the information submitted during the application through the “I want to see the result of my application” module on the E-Residence screen, which is the application system of the Directorate of Migration Management. In addition, it is also possible to obtain information through YİMER/157 for the said inquiry. 

In light of the above information, international students do not need to apply to the Provincial Directorates of Migration Management in person to find out their residence permit application status.
