ESTABLISHMENT-HISTORY
FOUNDATION OF THE FACULTY
Develi Faculty of Theology was established as Develi Faculty of Islamic Sciences under Kayseri University by Law No. 7141, published in the Official Gazette dated May 18.2018, and numbered 30425, entitled “Law Amending the Higher Education Law and Certain Laws and Decrees with the Force of Law.” In addition to education and training services, our faculty also conducts research and development, scientific projects, and research and social activities aimed at developing the socio-cultural structure of the city in which it is located.
The name of our faculty was changed to Develi Faculty of Theology in the Official Gazette dated September 18.2025, and numbered 10415.
4.497 m² closed area, in addition to the rooms belonging to administrative and academic staff, 13 classrooms where educational activities are carried out, 1 computer laboratory, a meeting and conference hall for 79 people, 1 library and cafeteria on our campus, which enable different scientific and cultural activities, are also offered to the service of our students and lecturers.

As Develi Faculty of Theology at Kayseri University, our vision is; "To be a faculty that sets an example with its religious education and teaching activities, is a pioneer in vocational education with its academic activities, and is constantly evolving." From this perspective, our faculty aims to make the knowledge and added value produced by academia available to our nation through social service activities, alongside its educational activities.
