FOUNDATION OF THE FACULTY

Develi Faculty of Islamic Sciences was established within Kayseri University with the “Law on the Amendment of Higher Education Law and Some Laws and Decree Laws” numbered 7141 published in the Official Gazette dated 18.05.2018 and numbered 30425. In addition to education and training services, our faculty also carries out research and development, scientific project production and research and social activities for the development of the socio-cultural structure of the city where it is located. In our faculty building with.
4.497 m² closed area, in addition to the rooms belonging to administrative and academic staff, 13 classrooms where educational activities are carried out, 1 computer laboratory, a meeting and conference hall for 79 people, 1 library and cafeteria on our campus, which enable different scientific and cultural activities, are also offered to the service of our students and lecturers.

In our faculty, Islamic Sciences education program is applied as a single department as academic units within this program;

As Kayseri University Develi Faculty of Islamic Sciences, our vision is; “It is among our primary goals to raise idealistic individuals who learn Islam from scientific and basic sources, who can analyze and draw conclusions from Islamic sciences, who are committed to national and spiritual values and bring them to society. In addition, to train religious officials, researchers, teachers and academicians who assimilate and synthesize our history of culture and civilization and contribute to Islamic civilization and universal culture.” In this respect, our faculty aims to present the knowledge and added value produced by the academy together with educational activities to the benefit of our nation through social service activities.
