ESTABLISHMENT OF THE FACULTY

Develi Faculty of Islamic Sciences was established within Kayseri University with the “Law on the Amendment of Higher Education Law and Some Laws and Decree Laws” numbered 7141 published in the Official Gazette dated 18.05.2018 and numbered 30425. In addition to education and training services, our faculty also carries out research and development, scientific project production and research and social activities for the development of the socio-cultural structure of the city where it is located.

There are three departments within our faculty: Basic Islamic Sciences, Philosophy and Religious Sciences, Islamic History and Arts. A total of 12 faculty members, including 3 professors, 7 associate professors, 2 Dr. lecturers, 2 lecturers and 1 research assistant are working in our faculty. Our faculty, which started education in the 2019-2020 academic year, continues its education with the quota determined every year. Recruitment to the master's program in graduate education started in 2020 with the Department of Basic Islamic Sciences and continues with the Department of Islamic History and Arts in 2022.
