The Yaşar Ekincioğlu Library, established with the contributions of philanthropist businessman Yaşar Ekincioğlu within the Develi Faculty of Theology at Kayseri University (KAYÜ), was officially opened with a ceremony.

The opening ceremony was attended by Kayseri Deputy Governor Ömer Tekeş, Kayseri University Rector Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa, Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın, Retired Deputy President of Religious Affairs Necmettin Nursaçan, Kayseri Provincial Mufti Durmuş Ayvaz, Kayseri University Vice Rector and Dean of Develi Faculty of Social and Human Sciences Prof. Dr. Zeki Tekin, Erciyes University Faculty of Theology Dean Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kamil Cihan, Dean of the Faculty of Theology at Kayseri University Develi Prof. Dr. Alparslan Hanzade, Director of Develi Hüseyin Şahin Vocational School Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Delice, Honorary President of Seyrani Education Foundation Suat Köylüoğlu, President of Seyrani Education Foundation İbrahim Katırcıoğlu, philanthropist Yaşar Ekincioğlu, as well as numerous dignitaries and academics.

Following the opening ceremony, which included a prayer by retired Deputy Head of Religious Affairs Necmettin Nursaçan, the guests toured the library.

Following the library opening, an exhibition of calligraphy and illumination works by Dr. Fatmagül Saklavcı, an artist of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was also inaugurated.
